I kind of forgot I had a blog. Well, I have several, but I mean I forgot that I had THIS blog. I guess I should probably start by talking about who I am a little since the last time I tried to introduce myself, I was a bit different of a person.
My name is Kristen Stewart. Yes, that's my real, parent-given name. I kid you not. I am not a Twilight fan trying to play off this name as my own, it is my name. Kristen is a common first name, Stewart is a common last name. It happens.
So let's move on!
I am 21 years old and I live in the United States. I've always liked learning about different cultures and the world around me. I even plan to work as an English teacher overseas in the near future. I'm currently a student at Illinois State University and I'm getting my bachelor's in English to do just that. My English degree is also why I have such a lovely writing style! Hehe, that's a lie. I'm actually a writer, that's where my style comes from. I was a good writer long before I pursued this degree. I might post some of my work here from time to time, but it will be rare if I do. Most of my writing goes onto my deviantart account, which I'll link to.... um...... somewhere. Here? Why not.

There. Now you can go stalk me and my writing. I warn you all, though, my current big project is a novel about gay boys. I write a lot of gore too. I don't know why my brain likes gore and gay boys so much, but I'd rather not question it. I fear the day it decides that it wants to write about both at the same time...
As for music, I listen to a lot of stuff. Recently, I've gotten into Kpop. And by recently, I mean it's been a few years but I like to pretend it was recently so that I don't feel bad for not knowing idol's names. Seriously, I'm AWFUL with names. I'm getting there, though. As for Kpop groups that I like? BAP, SHINee, EXO, Big Bang, and select songs by U-KISS, Super Junior, Rain, T-ara, and.... well.... just about everyone else. As you can see, I'm a bit bias towards guy groups. I dunno, I just like them more. I like edgier things and stuff I can dance to. Even in foreign music, I'm a bit of a lyric freak, so I concentrate on that a lot.
I listen to a lot of rock music as well. Mostly stuff like Straylight Run, Rise Against, Brand New... those kinds of groups. I'm totally in LOVE with One OK Rock right now. They are simply too awesome for words.
I also enjoy a lot of classical music, Jpop, and.... a lot of stuff. I don't really like genres or groups so much as I like songs. Even though I'm not a fan of country or rap, there are country and rap songs that I like. I just like the music that I like, simple as that. I'll probably fan girl about music every now and then. Maybe even have a postly recommendation so you guys can find new stuff to listen to.
I like a lot of stuff and I'll probably just discuss it from post to post. This blog shall be a journey for us. I'll discover things about myself that I didn't know and you can all figure out what kind of person I am. Sounds fun, right?
